Waarom geen Johan Cruijf uitvoering? Natuurlijk een rare actie van Ford. Voor de rest wel een aardige auto maar niet meer dan dat. De naam Capri is nogal ongelukkig gekozen.

Aardige auto? Ik heb hem 2x zien rijden tot nu toe en vind het echt een zwak ontwerp. Erg generiek en doet de naam Capri geen eer aan.
Een échte Capri zag ik onlangs op een oud timerevent: da’s toch echt wel een ander paar mouwen.

Na de Explorer Collection is er ook een Capri Collection.
The most visible element of this collection is the exclusive Tribute Blue paint job, imagined in such a way as to remind of historic Capri racing liveries. But that’s not the only change made to the exterior of the Collection’s SUV, as there are physical alterations as well.
More specifically, these cars, which Ford didn’t say how many will make, come with deeper front valances, rear valances, and side skirts. Just like the spoiler at the rear, these are painted black to contrast the rest of the body and to fit in with the machine-faced 21-inch alloy wheels, partly finished in satin black.
The interior is special as well, all draped in Black Onyx with Tribute Blue accents on the seat sides, lower soundbar, and seatbelts. The same color play between black and blue can be seen on the dashboard and center console. Finally, a vertical stripe insert in the colors of the exterior is another nod to the race cars from the past.

De auto is nu ruim een jaar op de markt, ik heb er 2x een exemplaar zien rijden... Ik kan me nog herinneren dat de straten vol stonden met Escorts, Sierra's en Focussen.

De 2026.75 heeft wat vernieuwingen, zoals V2L. Ook best wat assistentie die in mijn ogen niks toevoegt, zoals het opslaan van een parkeerplaatsmanoeuvre, zodat je een volgende keer bij die plek gelijk weer kan parkeren. Ik vind automatisch inparkeren al vrij zinloos, maar dat is persoonlijk en een mening natuurlijk.
Ik ben blij met mijn rode rakker, maar je ziet ze niet veel inderdaad. Denk dat de meesten voor een Explorer gaan, die zie ik vaker rijden.
