N-ONE e
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. released information on its new light passenger EV (electric vehicle) "N-ONE e:" on its website on July 28. The N-ONE e: is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2025, and will begin accepting pre-orders from August 1 ahead of its release.
The grand concept of the N-ONE e: is "e

aily Partner," and it was developed in pursuit of the type of EV that is required in the Japanese market. The N-ONE e: inherits the endearing exterior design, spacious interior space and ease of handling from the N360, the origin of Honda passenger cars. By adding the powerful, clean driving and quietness that only an EV can offer, the car aims to become a standard EV that will be supported by a wide range of users. In addition to achieving a cruising range of over 270km in WLTC mode, the car also comes equipped with convenient and useful features that are unique to EVs, such as a power supply function and V2H (Vehicle to Home).
The exterior design is based on the N-ONE design, with the addition of a clean look that is unique to EVs. The strongly taut curves of the entire tailgate, including the front fenders and rear glass, create a high-quality three-dimensional look and a clean impression. In addition, the rear bumper is rounded along the fenders, and the rear tires are visible from behind, expressing a light and stable stance. Five body colors are available, including the new "Cheerful Green" color that embodies the grand concept of the N-ONE e:.
The interior design features a thin, light shape for the upper part of the instrument panel that comes into view, and a design that eliminates the sense of corners and sharp edges, creating a spacious interior.
In addition, the use of a bright color similar to the one used for the instrument panel, part of the door panels, and the steering pad enhances the sense of unity throughout the interior and creates a horizontal theme, creating a comfortable driving environment. Furthermore, the flat finish on the bonnet and top surface of the instrument panel makes it easier to see ahead and get a sense of the width of the vehicle, providing a clear view that allows drivers to drive with confidence.
In addition, the control switches for each function are concentrated in the center of the instrument panel for easy use, and a wide tray is installed in the middle level, making it easy to reach from the driver's seat, enhancing convenience for everyday use.
Resource circulation initiatives
In addition, as part of the "resource circulation" initiative, which aims to reduce the use of exhaustible resources as much as possible and recycle them, the N-ONE e: uses "recycled bumper material" made from recycled bumpers from Honda vehicles in the front grille. In addition, in the interior, plant-based bio-resin is used as horizontal accents in the instrument panel, and recycled materials such as used PET bottles and work clothes used by Honda employees are used for the floor carpet and insulators.
